Last weekend I was covering the G20 Protests in Toronto for The Globe and Mail. This was my first experience covering an event with such a huge media saturation. Below is a very large edit of images that encapsulate what I covered over the weekend. I have a lot of thoughts regarding the events that transpired. I was blown away by the speed of social media coverage (twitter), I was amazed at the images some Photographers were able to produce given the circumstances and speed at which events unfolded, and I am now fascinated with comparing all the different angles of key events captured by dozens of Photographers – particularly events I was present for. I hope to write more about my experiences covering the G20 in the near future, but am quite busy right now with some excited projects in development – so for now, here is a big edit.
