I spent the day at Downsview Armoury in North Toronto, it’s home to 32 Brigade of the Canadian Armed Forces. Today was the first day that I was documenting the PLQ (Primary Leadership Qualification) course held at the Armoury. The PLQ is essentially training soldiers to be drill instructors.
My time in Hawaii is almost at an end. It has been a real learning experience here working with Vincent Laforet, and the whole team that has been working on our documentary of Pro Surfer Jamie O’Brien. A lot of talent is on site, and I’m glad to have been apart of it. I’ve undergone a crash course in Final Cut Pro’s Color while here in Hawaii. It’s such a powerful program – I know I’ll be integrating it into my motion workflow for upcoming projects.
