Ryan Enn Hughes is a director, photographer, and artist based in Toronto, Canada. His multimedia production company REH Visuals creates videos, photographs, installations, animated gifs, and virtual reality content. Ryan has collaborated with some of the most recognized brands in the world, including Microsoft, Facebook, AT&T, Samsung, Bacardi, Universal Music Group, Capitol Records, Uniqlo, W Hotels, General Motors, Goldman Sachs, Vice Media, The Tonight Show, and The New York Times. His artwork has been exhibited at Art Basel, SXSW, The Getty Center, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), The Hammer Museum, The Photographers’ Gallery, and Look3. Ryan’s work has been written about in The Atlantic, BBC News, The British Journal of Photography, Creative Review, The Creators Project, Fader, The Guardian, Huffington Post, National Public Radio (NPR), Photo District News (PDN), and Wired. He is recipient of a Chalmers Arts Fellowship, a commissioned filmmaker for The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, and a team member of the Emmy award-winning series Behind the Veil produced by The Globe and Mail. Ryan is a current member of The Advisory Council for The School of Image Arts at Ryerson University in Toronto, his alma mater.
